Microsoft Edge automatically saves files to the default location you specify when you enable it. A C: drive with insufficient storage space may be unable to download many files, which may result in a larger system disk space deficit. By pressing Ctrl J, you can access downloads in Microsoft Edge. You can change the download location for Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 using the Start menu. The download folder is the default folder for all of your downloaded files in Microsoft Edge. You can also add the option of asking Microsoft Edge where each file should be saved prior to download to this screen. By selecting a new location in the dialog box, you can access your downloaded files. After you select Downloads, click the Change button next to the Location tab. Then, under Settings, you’ll find Settings. How Do I Change Download Settings In Microsoft Edge? To download from a different location, click Save as and then select the one you want to use. When you click Save, your file will be saved to your preferred download location, such as C drive. By installing Windows 10 build 14257, Microsoft Edge now has the ability to request permission whenever it wants to download something. As a result, Microsoft has implemented a bug-protection feature in the most recent Insider Preview builds of Windows 10. The issue of Edge automatically downloading files has been brought to light by users. Even though some of the code is based on the previous Internet Explorer, it is based on a new version of that browser. The Microsoft Edge browser, which is the default browser for Windows 10, is now available as a free download. Now, every time you download a file in Microsoft Edge, you’ll be prompted to choose where to save it. Under the “Downloads” heading, click the button that says “Ask where to save each file before downloading.” 6. Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the window. If you’re like most people, you probably don’t want your downloads opening in Microsoft Edge. Overall, I enjoy the music of Dead Cells as a whole album. “The Castle” also breaks away from the subtler pieces of the soundtrack and introduces a sense of the building climax of the game with more dynamic melody that grabs the listener and drives home the morbid energy the game likes to throw at you. I think this is where Laulan’s ability really shines through in crafting a ear-catching tune using elements sparingly used in the first half of the soundtrack. Tracks like “The Clocktower” bring back heavy guitar melody and even a bit of synth elements which I will say I loved. “The Crypt” tones down the emphasis on chanting and guitar work and plays up the choir-work and introduces some strings in a way that brings out the ghoulish nature of much of the game’s body of work. In other places, the music leans more towards the morbid, which ones would hope for in a game featuring the slaughter of the undead and playing as a perpetually-resurrected revenant. This is featured in other tracks across the album, and can work to great effect with the setting of particular stages, though sometimes can be a bit overpowering in places. “Promenade of the Condemned” for example, plays up the chanting chorus to sound more ethnically-enfluenced. While emphasis on heavy drum percussion and acoustic guitar is evident throughout the soundtrack, some tracks feel like they are purposefully invoking a cultural shade to things. The game’s soundtrack as a whole lends itself to a blend of styles, which paint a picture as you progress through the game. It’s a good track to be able to listen to over and over, since attempting to learn your way through the game and inevitably being thrown back to the first stage will make you very familiar with this piece. The balance between the rhythm of the drums, the chants of the chorus and the energy of the guitar creates a track that I would imagine would be perfect in a D&D setting, which given the rouge-lite elements of Dead Cells is pretty fitting. The track “Prisoner’s Awakening” exemplifies this.ĭead Cells – Soundtrack Part 1 by Yoann Laulan This means you get very familiar with early stage music, which French composer Yoann Laulan seemed to have taken into account when he created the soundtrack, as the first few levels feature memorable melodies that borrow easily into your brain with subtle yet catchy acoustic guitar. The challenge is that if you die, regardless of where you progressed to, you get thrown back to the beginning of the game. There are different levels you must traverse to progress along in your undead quest, each with their own themes. Both games adhere to similar gameplay mechanics as Dark Souls games, and also to music that plays to the environments and atmosphere. Unlike Crypt, however, Dead Cells features a far different type of soundtrack than the upbeat catchy rhythm of the former.ĭead Cells is very much akin to Salt and Sanctuary in both feel and its soundtrack. While I originally took the loose risk of purchasing indie game Dead Cells because of it’s metroidvania offerings and promises of Dark Souls-like challenge, I was happy to find much like Crypt, it took sported a compelling soundtrack to it. One of them was Crypt of the Necrodancer, which played to my tastes in both cute macabre games and games with good soundtracks. There’s only a handful of games that I have gone out of my way to purchase while they’re still in earl access on Steam. On top of all the easily accessible app buttons, there’s “Ideas” (which jumps you to the main application webpage), “Lab” (which does much the same), and “Support” (for quick access to tutorials, suggestions, and the user forum). There’s even an “Optimize” button that will suggest some things about your project that could be done to improve performance - and it also converts the files to the right codec! And, speaking of performance, Millumin is 64-bit compatible, so those of you running Mountain Lion or Lion will see a big speed jump. Thank you.)Īll the options for Fullscreen, Output, Devices, and Preferences are laid out on buttons cleanly across the top for easy access. (On that note - please use fast hard drives, and stay away from H.264. Millumin supports many codecs as well, including PJPEG, my favorite. Millumin’s output is highly configurable, with four standard presets and “custom” options, along with options for Multi-screen, Soft-edge and Transform. To sync multiple machines, you can use SimpleSync, another great mini-app that goes along with the main application, and Syphon is supported as well. Millumin interacts with OSC, MIDI, Art-Net, along with a plug-in called MilluPlug, which furthers Millumin’s extensibility into DMX and Arduino. As far as layer control, using keyframes, you can control things like opacity, position, and scale if needed. For instance, you can create a composition with cue points, then embed it into the Dashboard and play back from there. Compositions can be put into the Dashboard, and vice-versa, to further enhance playback. In addition to keyframes, it features “cue points” and the option to “pause on cue points” - incredibly handy. The Composition tab allows for media to be arranged in a timeline format. (I kept wishing for a simple “minus” (-) button next to the active layer.) To delete Layers, you’ll need to use a keyboard shortcut or select it from the menu at the top. I found this feature to be really handy to create PIP effects that could simply be turned on or off (or faded, if need be). There is also a “Continuation” feature of the grid to allow multiple layers to continue playing back. The Dashboard allows arrangement of media in a column layout familiar to anyone using any type of VJ playback system. The real workhorse of Millumin is down below - the Dashboard and Composition tabs. It can do these things with buttons across the top - they’re there if you need them, but not in the way if you don’t. It comes complete with a Mapping Tool (Warp-enabled, both Rigid and Bezier), a Mask tool and a Quartz Layer tool. The Work Surface is where you manipulate your output. It’s also where you manage your inputs (should you have any). The Library Bin is where you drag and store all of your files - videos, images, etc. You get a Library Bin, a Work Surface (that mirrors output) with two areas to manipulate the properties of that surface and a Timeline of sorts at the bottom. Millumin’s interface is sparse and simple. As I stated earlier, it’s the playback that I’m most interested in. In fact, Millumin has an After Effects plug-in which allows you to see projection-mapping output live from that app… but I digress. There are plenty of high-powered apps to do that. It is not, however, a content creation tool. Millumin bills itself as a tool to “create and perform audiovisual shows,” and it excels in this respect. As a believer in using the right tool for the right job, I was pleased to try out Millumin on a recent gig. But as app designers pack more of these advances into their software bundles, users are yearning for an easy way to arrange and play back some simple files. Warping, mapping and multiple layer playback, exotic even a few years ago, are fairly commonplace. The recent video boom has spawned a number of applications that allow you to do pretty much anything with anything. You don’t have to be a Harvard Business School MBA to understand why this condition matters, as operating two separate companies to pick-up and deliver Ground and Express packages is not efficient. Distinct management teams for the two separate operating companies.Separate line-haul and regional hub operations.FedEx Express drivers are FedEx employees while FedEx Ground drivers are not FedEx employees and work for contractors that manage/provide Ground services in a defined geography. Two pick-up and delivery operations to include separate local terminals/trucks and drivers, operating under radically different employee models. While numerous support operations have been merged to improve and simplify the customer experience, FedEx Ground and FedEx Express are still two, very separate transportation companies and function separately in the following ways: Uniformed truck branding that no longer distinguishes between the separate Ground and Express companies and trucks.Unified barcode technology that allows the two separate operating companies to scan and capture data across both companies.Single, unified business organizations that represent Ground and Express sales/marketing, technology support and customer service. In addition to the changes related to drop-box package acceptance policy, here are some of the additional changes that FedEx has implemented over the years to unify the customer experience of the two separate and distinct, Express/Ground operating companies. This is just another incremental step FedEx has taken to diffuse customer confusion over having two separate operating companies that provide Ground and Express services. The disclaimer regarding delayed Ground shipments tendered via the Express drop-box tells us that FedEx is servicing the drop-box via their separate Express company and not tendering the Ground shipment to its separate Ground company until the following day.Ĥ. This change supports the quickly growing e-commerce, Ground returns business segment and will permit a customer to drop off a Ground returns shipment at an Express drop-box.ģ. This will ease the confusion and anxiety of the shipper that previously went to drop off a Ground shipment at an Express drop box and was greeted with a message that stated you could not put a Ground shipment in an Express drop-box.Ģ. FedEx Express has finally decided to officially accept FedEx Ground shipments at its Express network of drop-boxes. So, what does the fine print mean and why does it matter?ġ. A disclaimer warns that FedEx Ground shipments may be delayed by one day.

Everyone was down bad for Ganondorf's big return after the final Tears of the Kingdom trailer dropped, and I can tell you right now that players are going to trying warping straight through him when the Breath of the Wild sequel arrives. This is a list of traps and enemies found in The Legend of Zelda. I can tell you one thing though: this horrible speculation is inevitably going to turn to Ganondorf. Yes, this was pretty much always going to happen when you bring up the possibility of the player going through someone, especially after everyone was asking why Ant-Man didn't just crawl inside Thanos and explode him from the inside years ago. On the complete polar opposite end of the sanity speculation is the possibility of Link going right up an enemy's anus. If we could warp through them to the crystal on top, that'd certainly make things a lot easier. Let's close things out for today with a lovely. First of all, the bird-like Thunderbird is annoying to fight and rewarding to beat. If you’re having trouble with a particularly tough enemy but you managed to trap it in a cage, consider holding your opponent’s feet to the fire. You might remember these rocky foes from Breath of the Wild that rose up out of the ground, where Link could hop on their back and give their weak crystal a whack. The Thunderbird boss from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is one of the most memorable enemies for a plethora of reasons.
